Leisure and Golf

Leisure and Golf guide for the Torremolinos and Malaga area.

Malaga…an Off-Rig haven.

Drilling school delegates spending time studying and sitting exams at Malaga Drilling School are spoiled for choice when it comes to after-study activities. All tastes and ages will be satisfied with the wealth of pursuits found in the Torremolinos locality and close by along the Costa del Sol.

LeisureFor drilling delegates who don’t wish to travel too far from base, Torremolinos has 7km of promenade running along side its blue flag beaches, where water sports such as paragliding, windsurfing, water skiing, banana boats, pedal boats and diving can also be enjoyed. The seafront is dotted with “chiringuito” beach bars serving typical local dishes and fish cuisine. Medical and security posts along the beach provide peace of mind for rig workers with younger families.

The centre of Torremolinos offers all visitors to the drilling school a veritable shopper’s paradise and a chance to really escape rig mode. Calle San Miguel in the centre of the town just a minutes walk from Malaga Drilling School is a bustling pedestrian area with endless shops, restaurants, bars and souvenir booths.
