About the Role
We are looking for a qualified Diver for HUET / BOSIET training to support OPITO-approved offshore safety courses. In this role, you will act as a safety diver and support diver during HUET and sea survival exercises, ensuring the safety of delegates and instructors during in-water training activities.
You will work closely with OPITO-accredited instructors and training staff to prepare, monitor, and control practical training scenarios, providing immediate assistance during underwater escape exercises and emergency simulations in full compliance with OPITO safety standards.
Requirements
Certified commercial diver or professional safety diver with valid diving qualifications.
Proven experience working as a safety diver during HUET, BOSIET, or similar offshore safety training activities (highly desirable).
Strong knowledge of HUET procedures, underwater escape techniques, and emergency response protocols.
Experience working in training pools or controlled water environments for offshore safety training.
Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure and emergency situations.
Good understanding of risk assessment, safety control measures, and emergency response procedures during in-water training.
Medically fit to dive, with valid medical certification.
Fluent in English (spoken and understood).
Fluency in Arabic or other languages (highly valuable).
Strong teamwork, communication skills, and a high level of safety awareness.
