About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Land Rig Instructor to join our team at MDS Academy. In this role, you will deliver high-quality training focused on land drilling rig operations, covering fundamental drilling practices, equipment, procedures, and safety awareness. You will train personnel involved in land rig activities, ensuring they develop a solid practical understanding of drilling operations and safe working practices.
You will work closely with a team of industry professionals to support both face-to-face and virtual training delivery, sharing real operational experience and best practices from land rig environments.
Requirements
Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas drilling industry, with strong exposure to land rig operations.
Proven experience working as a Driller and/or Drilling Supervisor on land rigs (required).
Strong practical knowledge of land rig equipment, drilling operations, wellsite procedures, and safety practices.
Previous experience as an instructor, trainer, mentor, or supervisor delivering on-the-job training or classroom instruction (highly valuable).
Solid understanding of basic drilling concepts, rig safety, hazard identification, and risk control measures.
Strong ability to teach and assess technical knowledge to professional candidates using real operational scenarios.
Fully fluent in English (spoken and written).
Fluency in Turkish or other additional languages (highly valuable).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, guide, and motivate adult learners.
