Service Description

Recommended for “all members of the Wellsite Operations Team working in roles which may directly contribute to the creation, detection or control of a well influx” (OGP Report 476, p.9). Operation Team personnel - well-site based position whose action or inaction could directly influence well control assurance. Candidates will gain a comprehensive knowledge of Well Control theory and learn how to apply this knowledge to most of the well control situations. Candidates will be taught according to an IWCF syllabus in order to prepare them for assessments. Successful completion of the course and examination will result in IWCF Well Control Level 2 certification (valid for five years).
